Jennifer has been an instrumental team member for the Kemah office for nearly five years. Recently she has been instrumental in our transition to Workday, an HR management software. Four Kemah team members nominated Jennifer for employee of the month – citing her positive attitude, Workday savvy, and single-handedly keeping the office running smoothly. Cole Tinsley said that during this transition, Jennifer has remained a team player who is “often lending a helping hand to ensure her past responsibilities are maintaining the quality that is needed.” Learn more about our employee of the month, Jennifer Bouldin:

What do your day-to-day responsibilities entail?

No day at CTEH is alike. However, my most common duties include answering the phone, receiving and sending mail, welcoming visitors, enrolling employees for safety council and background checks, and office and facilities management. But ask anyone in the Kemah office, and they’ll say my most important role is keeping the candy bowl filled.

What does your new role as “Workday Administrator” entail?

We recently transitioned HR software systems from OpenAir to Workday. As we continue to transition and implement these new processes, I help employees navigate the software for time entry, expense entry, and project needs.

What sets CTEH apart?

They invest in their employees to ensure that we’re the most experienced and prepared people in the industry.

What is your favorite CTEH memory?

Working for a company like CTEH means you’re ready to mobilize at a moment’s notice. In 2019, a group of responders was working on Christmas in Port Neches, and CTEH hosted a local holiday party for everyone!

Congratulations, Jennifer! Thanks for all you do to keep our Kemah office running smoothly.
