When technology-related challenges strike, Mario Morales, Help Desk Technician, “rises to the occasion” to help his teammates find innovative solutions–even after hours and on the weekends. His problem-solving skills, along with his field knowledge, work ethic, and positive attitude, make him “Johnny-on-the-spot” for our New Orleans and Houston offices. What do your day-to-day responsibilities entail? 

I’m responsible for resolving help desk-related issues, including password resets; software and hardware troubleshooting; computer upgrades; and general technology inquiries. No day is alike, which I enjoy. Recently, I began Incident Command System (ICS) training to expand my field knowledge, so I can better assist my colleagues.

What’s your favorite part of working here?

CTEH is a fast-paced workplace that keeps me on my toes and allows me to learn something new nearly every day. Our work also presents unique career advancement opportunities, like trainings and certifications. There’s rarely a dull moment.

What sets CTEH apart?

Our people. CTEH’s camaraderie and culture make it less like a business and more like a family. I’ve only experienced a close-knit environment like this during my military service. And much like that, I know we have each other’s backs here.
