CTEH’s newest senior toxicologist, Michael McCoy, M.S., CIH, DABT, brings more than 15 years of consulting experience to the team. Having served as an industrial hygiene and toxicology professional since 2007, his strengths include occupational and environmental exposure reconstruction, historical exposure assessment, and complex industrial hygiene evaluations. In his role, Michael will utilize his diverse experience and education in the medical sphere to assist clients with complex and challenging issues in human exposure science and risk.
He has designed and conducted hundreds of exposure assessments for metals, asbestos, volatile organic compounds, isocyanates, dusts, pharmaceutical active ingredients, and bioaerosols. He has also evaluated and controlled worker exposure to highly potent pharmaceutical compounds and managed occupational toxicology and industrial hygiene programs in the pharmaceutical industry.
Michael earned his bachelor’s in Medical Laboratory Technology from Marquette University and his master’s in Pharmacology and Toxicology from the Medical College of Wisconsin.
He joined CTEH because of our positive culture and the team’s long tenure.
