CTEH® Promotes Paul Nony, Ph.D., CIH, CSP to Principal Toxicologist

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (June 25, 2019) – CTEH® has promoted Paul Nony, Ph.D., CIH, CSP to Principal Toxicologist. Dr. Nony currently serves as Director of Toxicology and Occupational Health for the company’s Health Sciences Division. In his role, he directs over 50 employees while focusing on chemical emergency response, risk assessment, public safety and human and environmental toxicology projects.

“Since joining CTEH® over 16 years ago, Dr. Nony has helped lead responses to more than 100 major chemical spills and over 500 worker exposure incidents across North America,” said Cory Davis, partner and principal consultant. “He is a trusted resource for our company, as well as the industries, governments and communities we serve.”

A certified industrial hygienist (CIH) and certified safety professional (CSP), Dr. Nony is a member of the American Industrial Hygiene Association, the American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists, and the Society of Toxicology. He holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from Hendrix College and Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Toxicology from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, where he often serves as a guest lecturer on topics in toxicology and environmental health.
