Michael McCoy, M.S., CIH, DABT
Senior Toxicologist
Mr. McCoy is a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) and Diplomate of the American Board of Toxicology (DABT) with 15 years of experience. Mr. McCoy is an industrial hygiene and toxicology professional with specific strengths in occupational and environmental exposure reconstruction, historical exposure assessment, and complex industrial hygiene evaluations. Mr. McCoy uses his experience and education in both industrial hygiene and toxicology to assist clients with complex and challenging issues in human exposure science and risk. He has designed and conducted hundreds of exposure assessments for metals, asbestos, volatile organic compounds, isocyanates, dusts, and bioaerosols. Mr. McCoy has evaluated and controlled worker exposure to highly potent pharmaceutical compounds and managed occupational health and industrial hygiene programs in the pharmaceutical industry. Mr. McCoy has designed and executed occupational exposure simulations for historical exposures to asbestos and dusts and has designed industrial hygiene programs for large multinational companies to control exposures to asbestos, mineral acids, organic solvents and metals, including lead, hexavalent chromium, and beryllium. Mr. McCoy has also provided client consultation on forensic toxicology of illicit drugs, alcohols, and pharmaceutical products.
