About Jeff
Jeff Fendley is the lead architect and senior developer for CTEH with more than 16 years of experience developing web applications using languages like Rails, ASP.NET in C#, PHP, and Classic ASP. He is familiar with business-tier programming and architecture and SOLID design principles, holds a CSSLP certification, and is an expert in CSS layout, front-end performance, and cross-browser compatibility and accessibility. He is knowledgeable in responsive/adaptive design techniques and has broad experience with web-based mobile frameworks. His database design expertise includes writing efficient queries, database-level performance tuning, and SQL Server DTS and T-SQL stored procedures (SQL Server; MySQL; PostgreSQL). He is a skilled communicator and is adept at gathering requirements, presenting to clients and management, and negotiating solutions to match project constraints. At CTEH, Jeff is part of a core team responsible for all business-critical software solutions. As part of this team, he helped develop and maintain a variety of major in-house applications to accomplish tasks like scientific sample tracking, emergency response, resource tracking, training management, quality management, and accounting. He is the primary administrator of Ubuntu-based machines that host all of CTEH’s web applications.
