Employee of the Month: Vik Pendharkar

Whether in the field or office, every day our employees have the opportunity to make a difference in each other’s lives. Vik Pendharkar, a Florida native, joined CTEH in August 2018 and serves as an Environmental Scientist II in our Kemah, Texas, office. Vik is September’s employee of the month, and below shares what motivates him to serve others.

What do you like about working at CTEH?

I like the unpredictability. It’s easy to stay interested since things are always changing!

What motivates you each day?

Waking up and getting a phone call that I’m needed across the country.

What’s a favorite CTEH memory?

In January, we were on a project at a high school, and we got to calibrate some AreaRAEs when it was 35 degrees and raining. That’s not something you get to do on a normal job.

What makes CTEH an industry leader?

The people who work here. I haven’t worked with anyone, full-time or part-time, that I haven’t got along with. It’s solid teamwork.
