Throughout his career, Dr. Michael Holland, CTEH’s senior medical toxicologist, has received prestigious Fellowship Status Awards with the American Academy of Clinical Toxicology (FAACT), American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine (FACOEM), American College of Medical Toxicology (FACMT) and American College of Emergency Physicians (FACEP).
Earlier this spring, he was inducted as a Fellow of the European Association of Poison Centres and Clinical Toxicologists (EAPCCT). With this honorary award, he joins a select group of members from 51 countries who have shown “distinction and commitment to the specialty of clinical toxicology and/or poison centres” and those “who have made a significant contribution to the work of the association, its sister organizations and/or its sponsored journal.”
Congratulations to Dr. Holland on this high honor! We look forward to seeing his continued contributions to the field of clinical toxicology.
Since the EAPCCT was founded in 1964, it has focused on preventing poisonings and promoting patient care through research, trainings, high professional standards and industry collaborations. For more information about its work, click here.
