CTEH was founded on sound scientific principles, and we seek to recognize when those principles are embodied in our employees. That’s why we created the Alan Nye Scientific Distinction Award.
This year the award went to Senior IH/ER Consultant Scott Skelton, MS, CIH. In his nominations, Scott was praised for his focus on safety. Scott is a leading consultant in the emergency response industry and has gained the trust of company leaders from all over the United States. For CTEH, he has held IH strike team training courses, which in turn has furthered the development of the CTEH Toxicology Emergency Response Program (TERP), as well as our toxicology team and our program managers.
His exposure research has also been published in peer-reviewed articles and white papers. He has helped develop dozens of quick-reference guides with densely detailed safety measures for multiple specific chemicals and their associated hazards. We’re happy you’re part of the team, Scott.
