Employee of the Month: Josh Evans
Josh Evans, IT Administrator, has become a “critical asset” to his colleagues, as well as our entire company, since joining the team in 2013. Amidst personal and professional challenges, including a global pandemic, he’s shown how he can quickly adapt to help others find innovative solutions. As one of his coworkers recently noted, his “perseverance through unexpectedly rough waters” has been an inspiration to everyone at CTEH. It’s why we’re proud to recognize him as Employee of the Month. Learn more about Josh in the Q&A below:
What does your position entail?
As IT Administrator, I am responsible for managing our firm’s electronic devices, including employee laptops, cellphones, iPads, WiFi hotspots, and more. I also oversee troubleshooting, inventory, service management, and technology set-ups for new hires. I’m fortunate to have two IT Technicians on my team, Mario Morales and Max Young, who help ensure we provide quick and effective solutions.
How has your role at CTEH evolved over the years?
I began my journey with CTEH in 2013 as a part-time Rapid Responder. During my two years in that role, I gained valuable on-the-ground knowledge about how to provide technological support. In 2015, the opportunity arose to become a recruiter and coordinator for the program. For the next three years, I helped streamline and restructure it into what it is today. I then had the opportunity to merge these experiences with my educational background for the position of IT Administrator.
What do you hope to accomplish next at CTEH?
I hope to expand our IT Department by continuing to provide the highest-quality services, excellent customer support, and efficient resolutions for technological-related issues.
Congratulations, Josh! Keep up the good work.
