For more than 15 years, they’ve looked to Chad Hyman, MS, CIH, CSP, a trusted expert with unmatched field experience in health, safety, and environmental (HSE) management and industrial hygiene. Now, he’s bringing his capabilities to CTEH as a senior consultant with our resiliency and recovery division.
Chad launched his career in the oil and gas industry to pay for his undergraduate degree and has never looked back. That initial operational experience proved invaluable, enabling him to understand every facet of HSE management. This skill set continues to benefit him today as he “connects the dots” for partners. Because of his deep understanding of operational nuances, he keenly understands how to help clients balance protection, business continuity, and efficiency.
Most recently, Chad held senior leadership and executive roles for a company focused on disaster recovery. While there, he further honed his expertise in HSE management and industrial hygiene, specializing in indoor air quality. Throughout his career, he says one of his primary focus areas has been helping clients build resilience through strategic preparedness and planning.
Along with scientific expertise, technical know-how, and hard work, he credits his continued success to a strong network of partners. He’s built relationships across diverse industries, from the private sector to government agencies like the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health. Today, he regularly shares his expertise with his peers and the next generation of scientific leaders, including through the National Occupational Research Agenda focus group and with Odessa College’s Occupational Safety & Environmental Technology students.
Chad said he looks forward to nurturing and growing these relationships in his new role. He notes that no other company has an expert team like CTEH.
