Welcome back to Inside CTEH®’s “What a Year.” As we continue to wrap up 2015, we’d like to take a minute to highlight the CTEH® scientists who were published this year: 

•Emergency Medicine Clinics of North America: In February, Dr. Michael Holland and Dr. David Cawthon’s research, “Personal Protective Equipment and Decontamination of Adults and Children” was published in the Emergency Medicine Clinics of North AmericaRead their abstract

•Hepatology: In February, Hepatology—the official journal of the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases—published, “Lineage dependent effects of aryl hydrocarbon receptor agonists contribute to liver tumorigenesis,” which was co-authored by Dr. Josh Harrill. Find out more

•Inhalation Toxicology: In 2015, Inhalation Toxicology—a medical journal that focuses on respiratory research—published Dr. Glenn Millner’s “Exposure to ammonia.” Read it here. 

•Journal for Occupational and Environmental Science: In April, the Journal for Occupational and Environmental Medicine published “Marijuana in the workplace: guidance for occupational health professionals and employers,” which was co-authored by Dr. Michael Holland. Read more. 

•The Toxicologist: This yearThe Toxicologist—a supplement to the Society of Toxicology’s official journal—published Drs. Cawthon, Harrill, Kind, Nony and Wnek’s research, “Derivation and Comparison of Occupational Exposure Limits (OELs) for Hydrocarbon Vapor Mixtures Emitted from Bakken and Non-Bakken Crude Oil.” Read their abstract.
