Cole Ledbetter, CIH, CSP
Senior Industrial Hygienist
Mr. Ledbetter has over twelve years of experience within the industrial hygiene industry and serves as a CTEH® industrial hygiene manager/senior industrial hygienist. Directed and organized more than 600 industrial hygiene and safety related projects to successfully meet client expectations and land within established budgeting requirements. As many as 20 projects running concurrently. He also manages and mentors’ numerous full-time direct reports as well as project teams. As part of this oversight he conducts and oversees qualitative and quantitative industrial hygiene exposure assessments and safety surveys, in addition to air sampling and monitoring, noise surveys, indoor air quality surveys, and development of project/site Health and Safety plans. Assessments often include sampling and monitoring air, soil, water, and other sources to collect data, report, and take action as necessary. Mr. Ledbetter has managed and conducted multi-faceted industrial hygiene assessments across multiple industries including, transportation, oil and gas, manufacturing, insurance claims, aerospace, and wood products. Mr. Ledbetter assists other staff members on industrial hygiene related matters including litigation support, analysis and interpretation of exposure data, and exposure control methodologies.
Prior to assuming his current duties, Mr. Ledbetter was employed as an environmental scientist II and a member of the Toxicology Emergency Response Team (TERP) for CTEH and quickly gaining leadership within the industrial hygiene team. As an environmental scientist, Mr. Ledbetter conducted exposure assessments for chemicals (solvents, dusts, etc.). He performed air monitoring/sampling for a variety of chemicals and agents including acids, volatile organic compounds, and particulates, in industrial facilities and during numerous emergency response incidents. Mr. Ledbetter provides data management and support in the areas of industrial hygiene, litigation, and emergency response.
