About Andre

Dr. Andre Richardson is a toxicologist for CTEH, LLC. His background focuses on principles pertaining to cardiovascular toxicology, environmental toxicology, as well as tobacco regulatory science research.

Dr. Richardson’s previous research focused on adverse thrombogenic (blood coagulation) effects associated with exposure to environmental toxicants, smoking conventional cigarettes, and vaping electronic cigarettes. His work evaluated how environmental toxicants and cigarette aerosol-derived constituents such as acrolein, crotonaldehyde, acetaldehyde, formaldehyde, as well as flavorant additives like cinnamaldehyde (cinnamon) and menthol (mint) may induce blood clots as biomarkers of cardiovascular harm.
