Over the course of his career, he has supported companies, government agencies, and response organizations in preparing for, responding to, and recovering from hazardous material incidents.

As Vice President of CTEH’s Emergency Response division, Dr. Kuhlman is continuing the organization’s tradition of trusted technical leadership during high-consequence incidents. Under his leadership, CTEH’s emergency response programs emphasize rapid data collection, defensible exposure assessment, and clear communication of complex scientific information to workers, affected communities, healthcare providers, and regulatory agencies.

Dr. Kuhlman is particularly committed to advancing the next generation of toxicologists and industrial hygienists who carry forward CTEH’s founding mission: protecting public, responder, and environmental health through sound science and transparent communication during emergency incidents.
