About Don
Don Forse brings over 25 years of experience guiding public policy and disaster recovery efforts across multiple levels of government. His career began in state legislative roles, where he helped shape policy on economic development, regulated industries, land use, and coastal issues through eight legislative sessions.
He later transitioned into disaster recovery leadership, working closely with federal, state, and local partners to support long-term recovery efforts following major natural disasters. Don played a central role in housing recovery and community outreach following Hurricane Harvey (2017), leading efforts across a multi-county impact area.
In recent years, Don has supported recovery missions nationwide—launching public health initiatives, staffing emergency response teams, tracking mitigation programs, and overseeing debris operations in dozens of communities. His strength lies in aligning complex programs with real-world community needs.
With a deep understanding of government operations and disaster recovery, Don helps bridge the gap between policy, funding, and implementation to support resilient, community-focused outcomes.
