About Larry

Lawrence “Larry” Malizzi is a Senior Consultant with CTEH. As part of his role, he spearheads business development on the East Coast, including through new service lines and helping serve on and oversee emergency responses as needed.

Larry brings more than 30 years of field experience to CTEH, specializing in disaster response, risk management, spill planning, drills and responses, and Natural Resource Damage Assessments (NRDAs). He is known within the industry for his ability to navigate complex issues involving endangered species or habitat restoration. During this career, he has managed notable large-scale incidents such as Hurricane Ida, the Bayport Channel Collision, St. Simon Sound, and many others.

Larry serves on the board of directors for the Spill Control Association of America and on the planning committees of the Clean Gulf Conference & Exhibition and International Oil Spill Conference. He frequently speaks on spill planning, NRDAs, response management, and other environmental topics in the U.S., Canada, the Middle East, and the European Union.
