About Steve

Dr. Steve Pepper is a senior consultant and PFAS subject matter expert with over 35 years of experience spanning fire protection, crisis management, and environmental remediation across the energy, petrochemical, and aviation sectors. His current practice focuses on PFAS contamination assessment and remediation, AFFF-to-fluorine-free foam (SFFF) transition planning, and firewater management system design for industrial and refining clients. He has led PFAS sampling and analysis programs using EPA Method 1633, supported the design and implementation of water treatment systems treating over 2.5MM gallons of PFAS-impacted water to non-detect levels, and served as a PFAS technical specialist on incident management teams for major facility emergencies.
