What does “building sciences” mean for a long-time, trusted environmental expert like Patrick Peoples? Over the past two and a half decades, he says providing these varied scientific services has become his “bread and butter.” Today, as the newest consultant and project manager with our building sciences team, he’s looking forward to equipping partners with the understandable, actionable information needed to help protect their employees’ health and productivity.
Patrick’s career trajectory, from conducting wetland delineation to leading diverse, large-scale projects across commercial, industrial, transportation, and government sectors, has equipped him with a unique skill set. His expertise spans various building sciences services, including moisture mapping, disaster response, asbestos surveys and abatement, mold assessments and remediation, air monitoring, lead-based paint surveys, indoor air quality monitoring, radon testing and mitigation, hazardous materials assessments, and other industrial hygiene surveys. However, what he believes truly sets him apart are his “multiple inspector licenses across multiple states,” relationships, and extensive experience with project design and management.
As Patrick noted, CTEH is already well-known for its expertise in industrial hygiene, emergency response, and disaster recovery. These capabilities, paired with our swift response time, are what he believes differentiate our building sciences team. Whether performing post-hurricane moisture mapping at a commercial property or overseeing the removal of asbestos-containing materials at an industrial mill, Patrick is excited to hit the ground running and be an asset to our partners and the CTEH team.
